President and Chief Executive Officer - Joe Goldberger
Joe started as President and CEO of Interrad Medical in January 2005 and has utilized his leadership and management experience to bring financing, key advisors, and personnel into the company. Prior to Interrad Medical, Joe had 20 years of business experience at GFI, a privately held food manufacturing company. Successfully building his customer base, he ultimately managed dozens of multi-million dollar customer relationships, and regularly negotiated seven-and eight-figure contracts. Joe was promoted to Executive Vice President and ultimately President, managing a team of 1000 employees with responsibility for sales, marketing, manufacturing, financing, legal, and human resources. Joe has a Bachelor’s degree in business and politics from the University of Minnesota.

Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer - Jeff Killion
Jeff has 20 years of experience in the medical industry. Most recently, Jeff was Vice President of Marketing at Velocimed, a start-up cardiology device company that was acquired by St. Jude Medical in early 2005. At Velocimed, Jeff was instrumental at moving the company from development to commercialization stage. Previously, Jeff was a Group Marketing Manager at Boston Scientific SCIMED working on their leading TAXUS drug-eluting stent program. He held other marketing management positions during seven years with Boston Scientific, focused mainly on the coronary stent business. He has also held positions in Quality Management and Marketing during 5 years with Baxter Healthcare in Chicago, Illinois. Jeff has a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Vice President Regulatory and Clinical (Contract) - Sew-Wah Tay, PhD
Sew-Wah has over 20 years experience in the medical device industry. She has a broad background in the areas of design, materials, quality, clinical, and regulatory. Her most recent position was VP Regulatory and Clinical Affairs for American Medical Systems. Prior to that she was VP of Regulatory and Clinical at Velocimed until it was acquired by St. Jude Medical. She also held the position of VP Regulatory and Quality at Survivalink. In these positions she has completed and received approval for a number of 510(k) product and IDE clinical study submissions to the FDA. She began her career as an R&D Engineer at both Boston Scientific Scimed and St. Jude Medical. Sew-Wah has a BS from Universiti Pertanian Malaysia, and a MS in Chemical Engineering and PhD in Biomaterials from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Chief Medical Officer (Contract) - Michael Rosenberg, MD
Currently in private practice as an Interventional Radiologist in St. Paul, Minnesota, Dr. Rosenberg is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology, Department of Radiology, Division of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology, at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics and has served as a consultant to several major medical device companies. Dr. Rosenberg is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology and holds a CAQ (Certificate of Added Qualification) in Vascular Interventional Radiology. He performs a wide range of minimally invasive vascular and non-vascular interventions encompassing nearly every organ system in the body, often collaborating with or assisting multiple medical specialties. These include Vascular Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Urology and Nephrology. Dr. Rosenberg specializes in endovascular treatment of aortic aneurysms, peripheral artery disease, varicose veins and deep venous thrombosis and helped pioneer early methods of stent graft repair of aortic aneurysms prior to availability of commercial devices. Dr. Rosenberg is first author on the patent of two Interrad Medical devices and co-author on a third.

Chief Financial Officer (Contract) – Nancy Ness, CPA
Ms. Ness has over 25 years experience in the financial community mostly in the medical device industry with early stage companies. She has served as acting CFO in a number of well-known medical device start-ups including Velocimed (acquired by St. Jude), Anulex Technologies, Kspine, CVRx, Coaxia, Lumen Biomedical and Hemosphere (formerly GRAFTcath). Nancy received her BA in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas and a Certified Public Accountant license in 1984.
